About team fUTure

At Chabad Lubavitch of Utah, we are dedicated to ensuring that the future of Judaism, both locally and globally is as bright as can be!

To that end, our Youth & Family Programming department was totally revamped in 2014, with the hiring of Rabbi Avremi & Sheina Zippel, and our activities have taken the community by storm!

-NEW! Chai Preschool: Slated to open for the 2018-2019 scholastic year, Chabad will be offering a full service preschool, with a Hebrew Immersion program, ensuring that Jewish Education starts at the very youngest possible age!
-Gan Israel Summer Camp: When school is out, the fun is in! Our local branch of the world's largest Summer camp network brings Judaism to life over a fun-filled, action-packed two weeks, in late June/early July. As the saying goes, "Camp Gan Israel-where Jewish kids are happier and happy kids are Jewisher!"
-Chai Hebrew School: At Chabad, our passion for Jewish Education is on display on a regular basis, giving our students the tools and keys they need, to grow in their knowledge and connection to their Heritage, challenging themselves on a regular basis, to be the very best Jew they can be!
-CTeen (Chabad Teen Network): As young Jews having completed their Bar or Bat Mitzvah, make their move to Jewish adulthood, having a strong sense of Jewish identity as a teenager is more important than ever! Our unique program, giving our teens social, educational, and humanitarian opportunities, helps our teens develop a sense of Jewish purpose that is all their own!
-Chabad Young Salt Lake City: The  most vibrant of all our Youth & Family programs, CYSLC has blossomed in just under two years, from a small group of friends, to a robust and flourishing community! With weekly Shabbat dinners, monthly programs, business and social networking opportunities, specifically geared classes and discussion groups, CYSLC has become the home for every young Jewish adult and college student from around the great State of Utah.

Our annual budget for all these activities has grown to approximately $18,000. While we are lucky enough to receive support from our generous donors throughout the year, we are hoping to close 2017 on a high, and complete the rest of our budget through our brave athletes who are taking upon themselves to run 13.1 or 26.2 miles for this great cause. Help them out!
